Some days are definitely more challenging than others. The Master Key Experience teaches us how to think for ourselves and how we are the result of our thoughts. One of the things that gets drilled into us each webinar and in the print material is how important it is to get into a mastermind group.
We are told of the power of the mastermind, but until something hits me over the head, I don’t always believe it.
So let me tell you a bit about my experience…
We have the tools all laid for us each week over the course. We practice them throughout the time we have with Mark and Davene. So what happens when commencement happens and we feel we don’t need to follow everything all the time. Well, rather me.
Two or more people working in harmony…
I realized I was smart enough to connect with at least a few of my fellow tribe members (a group that is set up at the beginning of the course with a couple of Master Key guides) We are called a mastermind group, 2 or more people working for a common cause.
The power of the mastermind was seen several times in our course including during the Franklin Makeover where everyone on the course was focused on seeing “kindness” everywhere.
Well, I experienced the power of the mastermind again this week. I knew I was needing a bit of a kick in the pants. I reached out to my mastermind partner to ask how I could get back on track. I’m sure I could have figured it out eventually in a sit, while reading through my material or it just jumping out at me.

But that may have taken a bit more time than I was willing to let it. My partner, who is focused on moving towards his DMP as I move to mine, reminded me of a couple of tools we can use.
Bam! Hit over the head!
The Power of using a Mastermind rather than sweat it out on my own. 2 minds can be better than one?
More master mind examples reveal themselves!
The Power of the Mastermind can even be experienced in places where I’d least expect it. I found it at home, in my living room with my SO. I am on the board at my yacht club. I was struggling with trying to show fellow board members how exciting a certain event that my committee and I are planning will be.
I shared my frustration with my SO. He stepped right up and showed me how to explain it without losing sight of the big picture. I now feel my point was seen and heard and the club can move forward in a positive and constructive manner.
Boom! Mastermind achieved!
Focus on the same thing made us move together to experience success!
Nicole, good for you for showing the importance of having a mastermind group. From your blog rover friend John.
I agree that a good mastermind is priceless! One of the HUGE benefits of MKE is that I have an Awesome mastermind group of like-minded people who’ve done the same training! Hugely Powerful! Thank you for focusing on that and reminding me of it’s power!!! 🙂
You’re welcome Laura! I’m glad I was able to remind you how powerful they can be:)
Always a pleasure seeing your comments John:) Thank you.
You are very welcome.
