This was a big week for me! I had plenty to catch up on while still moving forward. My word for the week from the Franklin Makeover was “well-organized”. How perfect. I set the intention early in the week to catch up on what I was behind in, stay on top of our readings from Haanel plus listening to Wallace Wattles.
Is competition a good thing?
Oh my! Wattles! As if I haven’t got caught up in everything I have already been learning, but now Wattles joins the teachings and solidifies all I have been learning up until now. He also addresses competition and I found that really interesting. I grew up learning that competition can be a healthy thing. And now I am learning that it can be a negative thing depending on where it is coming from. If we are out to compete just to compete without using our constructive thoughts and just to bring the opponent down, it begins to have negative consequences for ourselves and the universal. Instead, we need to tap into the imagination to bring about something useful that benefits all. Which brings us back to what we have been hearing for 6 months, “give more, get more”

I have also come to realize how important it is to be in harmony with our needs and our world within. Since I have started with the Master Key Experience I have been feeling more at peace with myself. I am noticing I take more time to observe what is happening around me before forming opinions. I am amazed at what a difference that makes in my personal and business relationships. Some things that might have bothered me in the past, seem to roll off my shoulders much easier. I find I am in less competition with my daily activities and instead more present for my loved ones. I am not constantly thinking about what I need to say or do next nor am I thinking of my grocery list while having a conversation. My friend Linda Slaughter has a great insight on living every day as if it is her last.
