Success from within?
People seem to think success is about the car one drives, the house one lives in, the vacations one goes on or which clothes one wears. But how many of you have a great car, house or been on vacations and are still not satisfied with these “things”? I know I don’t have a perfect car or house or even been on perfect holidays, but why am I not “satisfied” with where I am in life?
Be true to yourself
What I learned in the Master Key Experience has been invaluable. As we work through our DMP’s (goal-setting) and our affirmations (I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy) and so much more, I realize that we really need to be true to ourselves in order to experience success. Success comes from within. Just the fact that we have made it as far as we have in our lives, shows that we experience success in our everyday lives.
Show me
Really look at yourself and start to assess your successes. From graduating high school, to having children, to learning to drive, learning to read, and some days, just getting out of bed is a success. Then I start to see where I have experienced true joy. Funny enough, the most cherished triumphs have been from being true to myself. They have come from when I have reached for something that really means something to me. It hasn’t come from something someone told me is successful.
The short video I have included here is the one we see at the very beginning of our Master Key Experience journey that embodies finding success from being true to ourselves. By uncovering our “golden” selves and shedding the cement, success in life truly follows by being true to ourselves.
But what comes next?
It’s quite amazing to see what happens as we uncover our golden selves. Our self-confidence grows, our minds are more positive and even our bodies are kinder to us. When we are living an authentic life, everything looks better! See what my friend Michael has to say about self-confidence?.

Thank you, John:)
Awesome! Everything you said is spot on!!! It’s a process to get down to what we really want… especially because we usually don’t know that we don’t know it! 😀 Great share!
Thanks Laura! It’s good to figure out what we need!
Sometimes I think, “Oh all those years I wasted thinking I needed this car, this house, these clothes.”, Mahalo nui loa to the Master Key Experience not just for helping me see that I am enough just as I am golden buddah baby like all of us. But the best part is there no regret or remorse about the past. I am just thrilled and excited about the future! Mahalo for sharing this great read.
Laura
What do I want? Who am I?
Thanks to the master keys Experience
I have found that one thing just like you
I feel good
I appreciated you pointing out all the different ways that we experience success in life, that don’t have anything to do with material things. A great thing to become aware of! 🙂
Thanks Davene!
So glad you found what I found, Roz!
It’s so easy to forget when society tells us something different! Good for you Laura, for becoming aware!
Nicole, I love that you are showing us a shiny new car with a question mark asking if acquiring the shiny things in life equals success. Thanks for thinking through why it doesn’t! I love how you said, “They have come from when I have reached for something that really means something to me. It hasn’t come from something someone told me is successful.”
Thanks for sharing Nicole. There are some great ideas here
Thank you Shirley!
Thanks Julie!
For starters, Nicole, I must agree with the Fab. This is a great read, indeed! It kind of reminds me of the saying, “Small minds talk about people. Average minds talk about events. Great minds talk about ideas.” In your post, you make the point that happiness comes from within and not so much from without. In other words, it’s the principle/the idea of the matter, not the things we buy, or the people we impress. Yes!!!! 🙂
I’m unable to access the memory required to accurately let you know, Nicole, how many times I’ve heard “Be true to yourself.” It’s a lot! Although always meaningful and right on, it takes an MKE master mover such as yourself, elucidating the concept involved to access that golden God within, as you have, that places your words in that area of my brain reserved for total recall! Very grateful, very thankful for this reminder linking to my own #MKE journey to the true self buried under layer upon layer of environmental mental/spiritual disillusion that when trying to do it alone, is usually even harder to penetrate than concrete itself and unfortunately quite unlikely. 🙂
